Pamela A. “Pam” Lafferty, 59, of McSherrystown, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 1, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Bruce L. Lafferty for 42 years.
Born April 10, 1953 in Port Allegany, PA, she was a daughter of the late John Farrel and Joan Margaret (Kemp) Lorah.
Pamela was employed with HADCO Industries in Littlestown for 15 years. She was an active member of Cross Keys Fellowship Church where she coordinated many events and meals. Mrs. Lafferty was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and visiting with her sister in Colorado.
In addition to her husband, Bruce, she is survived by her two sons, Courtney L. Lafferty of Bismark, ND and Elliot J. Lafferty of Coryville, PA; her brother, Jim Lorah of Mechanicsburg; and her sister, Jennie L. Simsick, of Broomfield, CO.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Pam Lafferty will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Cross Keys Fellowship Church, 785 Berlin Rd., New Oxford with Pastor Allen Joines officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at a reception at the church.
