On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Aaron J. R. Brotman, loving husband, son and father, age 42, of Hanover, PA passed peacefully at home. Born March 14, 1978, in Baltimore, MD, Aaron worked for many years as an executive sales manager in first the mortgage, then the debt consolidation industries. He is survived by wife Tracy L. Sherman Brotman, son Skyler B. Myers-Brotman, daughter Molly M. Dennard, mother Jonette V. R. Butler and step-father Brian Butler, father Carl A. Brotman with his significant other Linda Bourke and her daughters, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends.
Aaron's passions included loving his country, target shooting, collecting and building firearms, grilling, going fishing with his Dad and kids, and keeping up with current events in politics. He was known for his sense of humor, quick wit, and compassionate spirit. He was active for many years as a successful World of Warcraft Guild Master and maintained friendships all over the country.
Funeral services will be held graveside at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation's Berryman's Lane Cemetery; 318 Berryman's Lane; Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 12:45 p.m. with Rabbi Elissa Sachs-Kohen officiating. (Social Distancing and masks covering mouth and nose are required at all times.) Due to COVID, the cemetery limits us to 30 attendees, therefore attendance is by invitation only.
Shiva services will be held at 208 Glyndon Drive, Reisterstown, MD. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 14th, after the funeral from 4 to 9 pm, on Thursday, October 15th from 12 noon to 3 pm and from 6 to 9 pm and on Friday October 16th from noon to 4 pm. Due to vulnerability of family members, we must insist that visitors observe social distancing and wear masks to cover the mouth and nose. (Hand sanitizer and disposable masks will be available at the door.) We ask that no more than 4 guests at a time enter the lower level where the family is sitting.
Unveiling of the grave marker, in 11 months, will be open to the public at a time and place to be announced.
