Amos L. Laughman, 73 of Hanover passed away peacefully at Hanover Hospital on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of Susan C. Bucher-Laughman.

Born October 7, 1950 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Cletus E. and Gladys I. (Cover) Laughman.

Mr. Laughman was a faithful member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Hanover, and served his community for 8 years as a volunteer with New Hope Ministries.  He was a very outgoing person and enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his wife, Amos is survived by two brothers: Bill Laughman and his wife Pat of Gettysburg and Charles Laughman and his wife Beverly of Vidalia, GA; one nephew, Jason; two nieces: Alissa and Debbie, as well as many loving extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dick Laughman.

A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Laughman's life will be held on Wednesday, January 17th at 11am at St. Mark Lutheran Church; 129 Charles St. in Hanover with Rev. Kirk Griffin officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10am until the start of the service.
