Andrew Ronald Harsha, 57, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover. He was the beloved husband of Mark L. Presher, Jr. Andrew and Mark shared a life filled with love and companionship for 20 years, having been married since 2015.

Born on Sunday, September 10, 1967, in Baltimore, Andrew was the cherished son of Betty Jean (Barnes) Harsha of Hanover and the late Charles Harsha.

Andrew was known for his kindness and unwavering compassion. As a dedicated geriatric nursing assistant, he formed deep, heartfelt connections with his patients, often brightening their days with thoughtful gifts and small acts of care. His gentle nature extended beyond his work—he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from visiting flea markets to listening to the music of Cher. A true animal lover, Andrew shared a special bond with his dog, Angel, who brought him endless happiness.

In addition to his husband and mother, Andrew is survived by a sibling and his nephew, Charles A. Harsha of Arkansas. He will also be deeply missed by numerous extended family members and friends who were fortunate to share in his life.

Honoring Andrew's wishes, there will be no public viewing. Following cremation, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
