Obituary

Arthur R. Paull, 84 of Hanover passed away peacefully at Homewood at Plum Creek on Friday, September 30, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of 66 years to Carol L. (Lewis) Paull.

Born January 9, 1938 in Uniontown, PA, he was a son of the late Ralph R. and Beulah M. (Miller) Paull.

Mr. Paull led very full life.  He was a commercial artist with an engineering mind.  While working with Westinghouse, he was involved with five Apollo Spaceflight Projects.  He also served his community as a Shriner with Boumi Temple in Baltimore and a Master Mason with the Mt. Mariah Masonic Lodge in Towson, MD.  In his spare time, he was also a history buff, especially of the Civil War.  Arthur is fondly remembered as an easy going, generous and loving man who had a special place in his heart for helping children.

In addition to his wife, Arthur is survived by two daughters: Linda J. Coney and her husband, Bruce of Glenville, PA and Sally A. Paull and her husband, Brian Edwards of Parkton, MD; his brother-in-law, Wendell R. Lewis and his wife, Wilma of Markleysburg, PA, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings: Melvin Paull, Robert Paull, Kenneth Paull, Wendell Paull, and Thelma Breakiron.

A funeral service to celebrate Arthur's life will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 6 th at 1 st United Methodist Church; 200 Frederick St. in Hanover, PA with Rev. Dr. B. Michael Brossman officiating.  Following a luncheon at the church, interment will be conducted privately by the family in Highview Memorial Gardens in Fallston, MD.  A time to share memories and gather with the family will also be at the church on Thursday from 10am until the start of the service.
