Betty L. (Fair) Dubs, 78, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Cross Keys Village Brethren Home Community. She was the loving wife of Glenn E. Dubs; together they shared 61 years of marriage.
Born January 14, 1944, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Robert D., Sr. and Emma G. (Gladhill) Fair.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; she cherished her family and loved spending time with them. She was a long-time member of Hanover First Church of God and enjoyed attending hymn sings at the church and summer concerts at the Codorus State Park Bandshell. Betty cherished her time camping with her family and friends. Some of her favorite places to go were Codorus State Park, Knoebels, Raystown Lake, Florida and Maine.
In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by two sons, Craig A. Dubs of Hanover, Shawn E. Dubs and his wife Jessica L. of Hanover; five grandchildren, Daryl A. Dubs of Hanover, Nicole L. Dubs of Thomasville, Joshua A. Dubs and his wife Julie E. of Parkersburg, WV, Jesa A. Miller of York, Courtney L. Dubs and her fiancé Brent of Hanover; five great grandchildren, Isaiah A. Dubs, Trenton D. Dunlap, Emmalynn C. Dubs, Everett G. Dubs, Ephraim J. Dubs, and many loving extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a son, Douglas D. Dubs and two brothers, Roy Fair and Robert Fair, Jr.
A service to celebrate the life of Betty L. (Fair) Dubs will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Dr., Hanover, PA with Rev. Dan Thomas officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hanover First Church of God at the address listed above or to the Brethren Home Good Samaritan Fund at 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford PA, 17350.
