Carolyn I. (Mansky) Kinion, 79 of Hanover passed away peacefully at Homewood at Plum Creek on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. She was the beloved wife of 37 years to the late Kenneth W. Kinion who passed away on October 7, 1999.
Born May 23, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Edmund J. and Rhoda C. (Scott) Mansky.
Mrs. Kinion retired from a career at the Carroll County Humane Society. She was a voracious reader and a trivia afficionado. She also enjoyed jewelry making, cross stitch and gardening, and was a lover of all types of dolls. Additionally, she loved playing games such as scrabble, Mah Jong, etc., and in recent years she loved playing Mexican Train with anyone who wanted to play.
Carolyn is survived by 3 daughters: Kimberley K. Sullenger and her husband, Michael of Port Orange, FL, Kelly A. Kinion and her husband, Mike of Hanover, PA and Leslie M. Wagner and her husband, Scott of Westminster, MD; 10 grandchildren: Michael Sullenger II and his wife, Hana, Kenneth Sullenger and his fiancé, Kim Phan, Jacob Sullenger, Katherine Olivio and her husband, Kendall, Amanda Bolt, Danielle Bolt, TSgt. Hunter Wagner and his wife, Alynne, Georgia Wagner, Christian Wagner and his wife, Alexis and Brooklyn Wagner; seven great-grandchildren; Michael III, Bethany and Joshua Sullenger, Isabella, Chase and Augustine Wagner and Zoe Winters; brother, Edmund J. Mansky and his wife, Carolyn and sister, Phyllis Fultz and her husband, Butch.
A memorial service to celebrate Carolyn's life will be held on Saturday, August 27 th at 11am in the Omni Room at the Community Center at Homewood at Plum Creek; 100 Homewood Way in Hanover, PA. The family will receive friends from 10:30am until the start of the service.
