Christopher Laurence Albert, 56, of Hanover, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at UPMC, Hanover.

Born April 23, 1967 in Alexandria, VA, he was the son of Linda L. (McCoy) Quicksell, Hanover and Herbert L. Albert and wife Bonnie, Lynn, IN.

Christopher served in the U.S. Air Force and was a "Chris of all trades".

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Derek Courtney, Hanover; sisters, Dawn Hipsley and husband Rob, Walkersville, MD and Tonya Lynn Houck, Gettysburg; nieces, Destiny Rose Houck, Gettysburg and Ariana Starr Houck, Hanover; nephews, Everett W. Hipsley and Ellis W. Hipsley both of Walkersville, MD and aunt, Peggy Soter, Brookville, OH.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Clifford Quicksell and nephew, Anthony Michael Iannetta.

A service to celebrate the life of Christopher Laurence Albert will be held at a later date.
