Dana L. Wolford, 76, of East Berlin, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1st, at his home, in the care of his beloved wife and family. He was the loving husband of Esther L. (Warner) Wolford, his wife of 52 years.

Dana was born on September 14, 1947, the son the late of Dale and Doris (Kohr) Wolford.

Dana served in the US Army as a communications specialist SP4 (T) stationed in Alaska during the Vietnam War, and also in the Reserves. He loved to trade stories with fellow veterans.

Dana was employed over the years by York Graphics, Berg Electronics / DuPont (27 years of that time), and Structural Engineer Resources.

Dana attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dover, PA. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. His love of classic cars in general and specifically Pontiacs of the 60's and early 70's spilled over to many and made instant friends of fellow car buffs at many car shows over the years.

In addition to his wife, Esther, he is survived by his son, Keith Wolford and his wife, Becky of Germantown, TN, and four grandchildren, Veronica, Silas, Cecilia and Felicity. Also his sister Diana (Wolford) Robinson of Felton, PA, nephew Del Etter of Felton, PA and Denna Chivers of Felton, PA.

The family is grateful to White Rose Memorial Hospice and Home Health for their support and care during this time.

A funeral service to celebrate Dana's life will be held on Tuesday, June 11th at 1pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church of Greater York; 5005 Carlisle Rd. in Dover, PA with Pastor Sterling Walsh officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Rose Cemetery in York.  A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Monday, June 10th from 4-7pm at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 549 Carlisle St. in Hanover, and again on Tuesday afternoon at the church from 12:30 pm until the start of the service.
