David J. Bommieno, 65 of Littlestown went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2024.  He was the loving husband of Rhonda L. Bartram.

Born June 20, 1959 in Alpha, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Bommieno.

David was an avid Civil War historian and reenactor with his special affection for Gettysburg calling him and his first wife, Debra Bommieno to move to Pennsylvania from New Jersey in 2015.  After Debra's passing in 2018, David met and married his current wife, Rhonda and the couple settled in nearby Littlestown.  They were together for 6 years.  As an historian, David also had a vast collection of arrowheads and Civil War artifacts.  He also loved animals, but most of all, he loved the Lord, with whom he now shares eternal life.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Bommieno is survived by his stepson, Justin Michael Bartram, as well as his beloved pets Gabriella, Bella, Josh, Sammy and Noah whom he loved very much.

In addition to his parents and his first wife Debra, David now walks the streets of Heaven with his stepson, Joshua Matthew Bartram and his two fur babies, Angel and Gabriel.

A graveside service to celebrate David's life will be held in private by his family.
