David Henry Duggin, 76, of Abbottstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover. He was the loving husband of the late Linda D. Duggin and the partner of Jan Howard of Abbottstown.

Born October 14, 1944 in Washington DC, he was the son of the late Enis Duggin and the late Daisy Berger.

Mr. Duggin was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather; he loved his family and cherished spending time with them. David was known to address his family and did until his final hour with, "I love you all." Mr. Duggin was a Deacon at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Hyattsville, MD for 12 years and worked as a civil engineer for the United States Government for many years.

In addition to his partner, David is survived by two children, daughter, Diana L. Benza of New Oxford, a son, David R. Duggin and his wife Dawn of Orrtanna; four grandchildren, Joshua Duggin, Sean Duggin, Zoe Duggin, Brian Benza and two great grandchildren, Liam and Mila Duggin.

In addition to his parents and wife, David was preceded in death by a son, Michael J. Fortunato.

David requested that there be no service. His final wishes will be carried out by the family.
