Obituary

David Carpenter Webster, 64, of Hanover, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. He was the loving husband of Carol D. (Tress) Webster. High school sweethearts, David and Carol shared 44 years of loving marriage.

Born April 14, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son of the late Carpenter J. and Ella S. (Hopkins) Webster.

David, a cherished father, devoted husband, and adoring grandfather, dedicated his life to providing for his family. For over 35 years, David was an aerospace manufacturing and project engineer. He was a dedicated employee of Middle River Aerostructure Systems in Middle River, Maryland (previously the Martin Marietta Corporation). Following his retirement, he reveled in the joy of spending time with his three grandchildren and embarking on memorable road trips across the U.S. with his beloved wife. Their shared love for the serenity and majesty of the nation's National Parks held a special place in their hearts. At home, David was an avid reader of American history and an accomplished builder, successfully transforming his home into a perfect retirement oasis, crafting model aircraft, and lovingly restoring a 1968 Pontiac Firebird. Known for his boundless love, kindness, and generosity, David left an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends. His warm presence and unconditional love will be deeply missed, leaving behind a legacy that will forever remain in the lives of those he touched.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by a son, David C. Webster and his wife Daniella of San Francisco, CA; a daughter, Jessica A. Hauser and her husband Andrew of Hanover; a son, Kyle B. Webster of Hanover; three beloved grandchildren, Riley M. Webster, Nolan D. Hauser, William J. Webster; two siblings, Allan J. Webster, and Linda M. Potter. Mr. Webster is also survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Howard J. Webster.
