Obituary

Deborah A. (Foley) Bollinger, 67 of Hanover passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 23, 2026.  She was the beloved wife of 45 years to Larry R. Bollinger, whom she married June 21, 1980.

Born June 24, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Alice C. (Watson) Foley.

Mrs. Bollinger is fondly remembered for her dedication to her family and friends.  Also a dedicated professional, she worked for 20 years at the Bank of Hanover, followed by serving for 2 years as a phlebotomist. Her career journey then carried her to office of local Hanover Doctor Paul Thomas (retired), with whom she served as a medical office assistant until her own retirement.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading and music, but most of all she cherished time spent with her beloved family.

In addition to her husband Larry, Deborah is survived by two children: Matthew T. Bollinger and Nicole L. Bollinger; three grandchildren: Connor L. Bollinger, Dean M. Bollinger and Shane C. Bollinger; her brother, James J. Foley and wife Jackie; brothers and sisters-in-law: Susan Fleenor and husband Richard, Cathy Hagerman and husband Tony, Brenda Neiderer and husband Ray, Jim Bollinger and (late) wife Karen, and Karen Neiderer and husband Doug, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in laws, Larry and Barbara Bollinger.

A Funeral Liturgy to celebrate Deborah's life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 31st at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 549 Carlisle St. in Hanover with Rev.
