Donald D. Althouse, 77, of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the loving husband of Linda G. (Eunice) Althouse; together they shared 56 years of marriage.

Born December 1, 1946, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Richard L. "Dick" Althouse and the late Miriam S. "Mim" (Dohner) Althouse.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his son, David Althouse of Hanover, two daughters, Amy Althouse-Canard and her husband Horace "Tim" Canard of Fernandina Beach, FL,  April Shaeffer and her husband David of York; grandchildren, Taylor Althouse, Arin Miller, Lily Shaeffer, Isaiah Shaeffer and Austin Shaeffer; two siblings, Rick Althouse and wife Karen and Adam Althouse and wife Janet, and many loving extended family members and friends.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Donald will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. A time to share memories with the family will be on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 5-7 pm at the Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover.
