Donna E. (Mays) Scott, 73 of Hanover passed away peacefully at Hanover Hospital on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

Born July 15, 1950 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth H., Sr. and Freda D. (McWilliams) Mays.

Donna was the owner / operator of Happy Time Day Care in Hanover, as well as a dedicated member and former Care Pastor at Life Discovery Church in McSherrystown.  She is fondly remembered as a faithful servant of God and her family.

Donna is survived by two children: Robert J. Albright and Tonya L. Rowland; one grandson, Donovan L. Rowland; two great-grandchildren: Levell Rowland and Serenity Rowland; two siblings: Jeffrey Mays and his wife Wanda and Timothy Mays and his wife Brenda, her much beloved dog Joey, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings: Kenneth H. Mays, Jr. and Gail Harrison.

A memorial service to celebrate Donna's life will be held at 2pm on Thursday, February 8th at Life Discovery Church; 414 Main St.; McSherrystown, PA 17344 with Pastors Jeffrey Dietrich and Gerry Stoltzfoos officiating.  A time to share memories and visit with the family will also be on Thursday at the church from 1pm until the start of the service.
