Donna E. (Trish) Simmons, 65 of Hanover passed away peacefully at Hanover Hospital on Monday, May 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth E. Simmons, Jr. with whom she shared 46 wonderful years.
Born February 11, 1960 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Arby W. Trish and Kathleene E. Luckenbaugh-Trish.
Mrs. Simmons is fondly remembered as generous giver who always put others first ahead of herself. She was also a fighter with an unstoppable "never give up" attitude. She enjoyed BINGO, camping, and most especially spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by three children: Timothy A. Livingston and wife Jessica of Georgia, Holly L. Livingston of Hanover and Billy J. Livingston and wife Kristina of Hanover; five stepchildren: Dave Trish, Kenneth Simmons III, Randy Simmons, Pamela Small and Elizabeth Eckert; four grandchildren: Karlee M. Livingston, Abigail K. Livingston, Kayleigh R. Livingston and Hunter W. Livingston; three siblings: Betty Wagaman, Ellen Riley and husband Karl and Nancy Simmons and husband Frank. As well as her fur baby, Puddles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings: Shirley Trish, Earn Trish, Ed Trish, Sandy Chittum, Helen Delp and Deborah Trish
A funeral service to celebrate Donna's life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, May 28th at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 549 Carlisle St. in Hanover with Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 12 noon until the start of the service.
