Doris Louise Ledford, 90 of Hanover passed away peacefully at Hanover Hall on Thursday, February 13, 2025.  She was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Junior Ledford, until his passing on April 14, 2010.

Born July 27, 1934 in Westminster, MD, she was a daughter of the late Thurston and Marion (Miller) Glass.

Mrs. Ledford is fondly remembered for her devotion to her family.  She also enjoyed reading and crocheting.  She donated many of her creations to help those in need.

Doris is survived by three children: Phyllis Little and her husband Donald, Wanda Hughes and her husband Roger, and Trevis Ledford and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren: Shawn Little, Robbie Hughes, Laurie Hughes, Christopher Ledford  Tyler Ledford, Steven Weaver and Samantha Weaver; great-grandchildren: Wesley Little, Olivia Haloftis, Kade Hughes, Isiah Miller and Hannah Miller; great granddaughter, Harper Hughes (and one on the way), as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Withers.

A graveside service to celebrate Doris' life will be held at 11am on Friday, February 21st at Rest Haven Cemetery; 310 Westminster Ave. in Hanover with Pastor David Breedlove officiating.  Guests are encouraged to arrive at the cemetery by 10:45am.
