Effie Lou (Buchee) Sheely, 93 of New Oxford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 UPMC Pinnacle Hanover. She was the loving wife of the late Laurin Sheely.

Born Wednesday, October 21, 1925 in Hampton, she was a daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Myers) Buchee.

Effie worked as a registered nurse for many years with Dr. Busler and Dr. Kirkpatrick's office.

Effie is survived by her son-in-law, Blake Lippy of Hanover; a nephew, Jay Sheely and his wife Mary of Palmyra and three great nieces, Katherine and Maggie Sheely, both of Palmyra and Amy Cramer- Bixler of Elizabethtown.

In addition to her parents and husband Effie, was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori L. Sheely-Lippy.

There will be no public viewing and services will be private.
