Elizabeth "Liz" Lippy, 85 of Hanover passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 surrounded by her family and her faithful dog, Sara.  She was the beloved wife of 48 years to Gerald M. Lippy, whom she married on March 13, 1979.  The couple spent a total of over 55 years together.

Born September 17, 1939 in Carroll County, MD, she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Grace (Wentz) Yingling.

In addition to her husband Gerald, Mrs. Lippy is survived by four children: Kathleen Warner and her husband Terry of Hanover, April Lippy of Hanover, Patricia Laughman of Hanover and Betty LeMaster of Hanover, as well as her half-brother Walter Wareheim of Littlestown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Francis Laughman and four half-brothers: Roy, Joseph, Robert and David Wareheim.

There is no public service planned.
