Obituary

Erika Rae Staub, 49, of East Berlin, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Pappus House in Thomasville.

Born, July 19, 1976, in Waynesboro, Erika was the daughter of Tod A. and Kimberly A. (Rhodes) Sentz. Erika was the wife to Dwayne A. Staub, with whom she shared 18 loving years of marriage.

Erika worked as a school bus driver for 10 years. She had spent time driving for Lincoln Bus Lines and E & B Transportation, for Dover Area School District, and loved her job. Erika took pleasure in giving herself to others. She also spent her time volunteering to teach bowling for the Special Olympics.

In her free time, outside of volunteering, Erika was a fan of NASCAR and racing in general. Most of all, Erika enjoyed spending time with her husband and family.  She was a member of the Amvets Post #22 of Hanover.

Erika is survived by her parents, Tod A. and Kimberly A. (Rhodes) Sentz of Littlestown, her loving husband, Dwayne A. Staub of East Berlin, three sons, Toby Allen Pincin of McSherrystown, JR Staub and wife Morgan of Hanover, and Ronald Allen Pincin IV of New Oxford, her sister, Kristi Rhodes of Gettysburg, two brothers, Jake Pritt and his wife Brittney, and Austyn Pritt, both of Littlestown, and her nieces and nephews, Tyler, Zachary, Brynn, and Calloway. Erika also leaves behind her grandmother, Shelby Rhodes of Gettysburg, and her uncle, Robert Rhodes and his wife Evelyn of New Oxford. Erika was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelby Pincin.

Following cremation, services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Erika's name be made to the Pappus House, 66 Big Mount Rd, Thomasville, PA 17364, or to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition, at www.pabreastcancer.org.
