Obituary

Etta Jayne (Lucabaugh) Lippy, 95, of Sewickley, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Masonic Village at Sewickley.

Born April 22, 1926 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Paul C. and Alverta C. (Fuhrman) Lucabaugh.

Etta was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother; she cherished her family and loved spending time with them. Etta worked in retail sales for Sears retiring after 22 years.

Ms. Lippy is survived by her two sons, Charles H. "Dick" Lynch, Jr. and his wife Jean of San Antonio, TX, Randy E. Henry and his wife Karen of Spring Grove; two grandchildren, Christopher M. Lynch and his wife Beth of Rockport, TX, Andrew B. Lynch and his wife Leah of Plainfield, IN; four great grandchildren; Jordan Lynch, Jay Lynch, Nathan Lynch and Annie Lynch. Etta is also survived many other loving extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Etta was preceded in death by her brother, Laverne Lucabaugh.

A service to celebrate the life of Etta Jayne (Lucabaugh) Lippy will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with the Rev. Kevin D. Orewiler officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home, Immediately following the service there will be a reception at the Altland House, 1 Center Square, Abbottstown, PA 17301. Burial will be at 10 am on Monday, August 23, 2021in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover. Pallbearers will be; Christopher M. Lynch and Andrew B. Lynch.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Village at Sewickley, 1000 Masonic Dr, Sewickley, PA 15143.
