Frances G. Jacoby, 98, of Hanover, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Hanover Hall.  She was the loving wife of Clyde W. Jacoby who passed away February 9, 1994.

Frances was born January 22, 1920 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Bernard J. and Mary (Hilker) Garrett.

Anyone who knew Frances, knew she loved all animals, especially her own and she loved to play bingo.  As a young woman, Frances worked for Dr. Seitz, Leshy's Box Factory and Doubleday and Co., Inc., all in Hanover.  Frances was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hanover.

Frances is survived by her children, Mary Hnatkowicz and her husband Michael of Hanover; Brett Jacoby and his wife Cherie of Hanover; two grandchildren, Paul Hnatkowicz and his wife Lindsay of Hanover and Amy (Jacoby) Derby and her husband Guy of Fair Oaks, CA; two step grandsons, Randy Hnatkowicz, his wife Laura and their three children of Spring Grove and Christopher Hnatkowicz, his wife Shannan and their three children of Virginia Beach, VA and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by her step mother, Elsie V. (Martin) Garrett; brothers, Dayne E. Garrett, J. Lewis Garrett, Ray H. Garrett, Russell Garrett and sister, Winifred Nace.

Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover is assisting the family with arrangements and a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
