Frank E.
Urban
Dec 30, 1955 — Sep 1, 2025
Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of Frank E. Urban of Littlestown, who left us on Monday, September 1st at the age of 69.
Born December 30, 1955 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert and Kathleen (Gaffney) Urban.
Mr. Urban was the true rock for his family—a loving husband to his beloved wife, Theresa, an incredible father to his four children, Harmony, Frankie, Joy and Ciji, and a cherished Bee Bop/Bocca to his four grandkids, Jacob, Bella, Vinny and Anthony.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Frank R. "Frankie" Pendolino-Urban.
Frank was a man of many talents and an endless supply of patience. Known to all as a true "Jack of All Trades" or a "Mr. Fix It", there wasn't anything he couldn't repair. Whether it was a broken toy or a complex household problem, or any issue with any electronic device, he approached every challenge with a calm determination. He was also a passionate guitar player, often filling our family home and gatherings with the songs he loved to play and sing. He took much pride in his career which was marked by his unwavering commitment to his work at Schindler Elevators, where he dedicated 45 years of service.
He has taught us so much about hard work and the importance of family, and we will carry those lessons with us forever. We are so lucky to have had him.
Frank was a man who truly knew how to "TAKE IT EASY", and will be deeply missed.
A viewing and an opportunity to gather with Frank's family will be on Saturday, September 6th from 11am until 3pm at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 549 Carlisle St. in Hanover. A Celebration of Life will follow Frank and Theresa's home. If needed, directions will be provided at the conclusion of the gathering at the funeral home.
