Born on Thursday, September 17, 1931, in Baltimore, MD, Frederick was the beloved son of the late Frederick C. and Mary (Cole) Berg.

Frederick's life was marked by a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. He found solace and contentment in tending to his garden, relishing the serenity of swimming, and savoring moments by the ocean's side. Professionally, Frederick made a significant impact as the director of operations at the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, MD.

Mr. Berg is survived by three loving children, Deborah Berg and her spouse Stacey Golabiewski of Hampstead, MD, Eric Berg and his spouse Kim of Marathon Island, FL, and Karen Miller and her spouse Donald of Hanover. He leaves behind a legacy through his five grandchildren, Evan Berg, Heather Gilstrap, Richard Miller, Dustin Miller, Lindsay Miller, and six great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who were touched by his kindness and warmth.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public viewing. Following cremation, services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Hanover and Spring Grove, 440 Madison St, Hanover, PA 17331, as a tribute to the compassionate care that Frederick received during his final days.
