Obituary

Gary E. Little, 81, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at UPMC Hanover Hospital. He was the loving companion of Dolores Keefer, with whom he shared 35 wonderful years.

Born December 31, 1944, in Hanover, he was the son of the late Edward Little and Gladys E. (Baumgardner) Wise. Gary was raised and educated in Hanover and remained deeply connected to the community throughout his life.

In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time out with friends, sharing stories and laughter. He especially loved country music and relaxing with a cold beer. Above all, he valued time spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his companion, Dolores, Gary is survived by his children: Wendy Sanchez of New Oxford; Missy Vazquez and her husband, Miguel, of Hanover; and Gary E. Little, Jr. and his companion, Billie Jo Glacken, of Hanover. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, his siblings Audrey DeHaven, Victoria Nickelson, Frederick Little, and Donald Wagner, along with many loving extended family members and dear friends.
