These moments of togetherness brought her happiness and created cherished memories for those who knew her.
She leaves behind her beloved children, Deborah Breuer, John Despines, and Michael Despines and his wife, Nicola; two grandchildren, Kelly DeVivio-Lambrecht and her husband, Greg, and Mario DeVivio and his companion, Lindsey; her sister, Donna Sneeringer; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her son, Melvin “Dick” Brown, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of Gladys from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover. A memorial service celebrating her life will follow at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Faye C. Snyder officiating.
