Glenn E. Snyder, 72 of Hanover passed away peacefully at The Gardens at Gettysburg on Monday, October 24, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of 54 years to the late Linda J. (Leese) Snyder who passed away on June 12, 2013.

Born December 28, 1949 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Mertis L., Sr. and Edna M. (Wonder) Snyder.

Mr. Snyder loved baking desserts, going to the beach, and most of all, spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Glenn is survived by two children: Douglas A. Snyder, Esq. of Camp Hill and Sheila A. Frey and her companion, Garry of Hanover; two grandchildren: Whitney R. Williams and her companion, Jimmy and Kayla S. Smith; two great-grandchildren: Hailey Cathcart and Harley Williams; four siblings: Mertis L. Snyder, Jr. and his wife, Linda, David L. Snyder and his wife, Ellen, Lynn D. Shorb and her husband, Terry and Yvonne M. Renshaw and her husband, Albert, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald E. Snyder.

A funeral service to celebrate Glenn's life will held at 11am on Friday, October 28 ^th at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 549 Carlisle St. in Hanover with Rev. Fred Mummert officiating. Interment will follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover.  A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be at the funeral home on Thursday, October 27 ^th from 6-8pm, and again on Friday at the funeral home from 10am until the start of the service.
