Hope A. (Stambaugh) Heston, 46, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover. She was the loving wife of Russell V. Heston, Jr.

Born May 5, 1976 in Hanover, she was the daughter of Cindy L. (Becker) Stambaugh of Spring Grove.

In addition to her husband and mother, Hope is survived by her two children, Gavyn and Bailey Heston, both of Hanover. Hope is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.

Mrs. Heston was preceded in death by her son, Doyle Stottlemyer; who passed away in 2015.

There will be no public viewing. Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate the life of Hope A. Heston will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with Pastor Bill Mummert officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital, which is located at 1249 Cocoa Ave., Suite 115, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033.
