Irma J. (Leib) Renaut, 93 of Hanover went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Myrl H. Renaut, who passed away on May 30, 2011.
Born May 3, 1929 in Malta, Montana, she was a daughter of the late John G. and Grace J. (Myers) Leib.
Mrs. Renaut was a faithful member of Missionary Bible Baptist Church in Hanover and spent 38 years as a Sunday school teacher in the 4 & 5 year old class. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also cherished her time traveling with her beloved Myrl to veteran's conventions across the country. In her spare time, she exceled at sewing, cooking and crocheting and she was a true animal lover.
Irma is survived by five children: Paul A. Renaut (husband of the late Deborah) of Hanover, John D. Renaut of Spring Grove, Sharon K. Wiseman of Hanover, Keith M. Renaut and his wife, Dawn of Hanover and Anne E. Eitnier and her husband, Keven of Jacksonville, N.C.; four grandchildren: Paul, Julie, Andy and Corey; numerous great-grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings: Harold Leib, Miriam Cashman and Dorothy Gentzler, as well as her grandson, Jesse Wiseman.
A funeral service to celebrate Irma's life will be held on Thursday, October 20 th at 1pm at Missionary Bible Baptist Church; 920 Beck Mill Rd.; Hanover, PA 17331 with Pastor Mark R. Rohnke officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Dubs Cemetery in Hanover. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Thursday at the church from 12 noon until the start of the service.
