Jacob William
Brady
Jul 28, 2006 — Apr 14, 2026
Jacob William Brady, 19, of Spring Grove, passed away tragically on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Born July 28, 2006, in Hanover, he was the beloved son of Joel W. Brady, Jr. of Hanover and Tanya M. (Lowman) Felix-Bloom of Spring Grove, and the cherished stepson of Amanda Brady and Thomas Bloom.
Jacob was born and raised in Hanover and attended South Western High School. He had a deep and unwavering love for Jesus Christ and a sincere desire to share his faith, always wanting others to come to know the Lord.
Jacob faced life with challenges, , despite these difficulties, he was known for his kind heart, his willingness to help others, and his desire to bring happiness to those around him. He was often described as a "helper," someone who found joy in lifting others up.
From a young age, Jacob displayed remarkable gifts and interests. By the age of five, he could identify nearly any car, reflecting his sharp mind and attention to detail. He had a passion for cars and airplanes and dreamed of one day becoming a pilot. Above all, music was his greatest passion. Exceptionally talented and self-taught, Jacob began playing guitar at just six years old and would spend hours immersed in his music, especially enjoying the style of Slash.
Family meant everything to Jacob. He deeply loved his role as a big brother and uncle and made it his personal mission to be the best he could be in those roles. Affectionately known as "Bravy" by his siblings, he shared a special bond with each of them, offering love, protection, and encouragement.
In addition to his parents and step-parents, Jacob is survived by his siblings: Jenna Sauder and her husband Keegan; Malachi Torrez; Joel Brady, III; Ethan Felix; Aiden Felix; Rylee Felix; and Brett Bloom; and by his beloved nephews, Anthony Sauder and Malachi Torrez, Jr. He is also survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends.
Jacob's life held profound meaning for his family. He was born exactly one year after the passing of his sister, Ella Grace Brady, and in many ways became a source of light, strength, and healing during an incredibly difficult time.
The loss of Jacob is deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. His family continues to seek understanding and answers, holding close their faith and the hope of reunion in Heaven.
Those attending services are invited to honor Jacob by wearing his favorite colors, black and red, as an informal tribute.
