James G. Pauley Video Tribute

James G. Pauley, 65, of Spring Grove, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle, Hanover.  He was the loving husband of Barbara Ann (Emig) Pauley, Spring Grove.

Born November 29, 1955 in Gettysburg, he was the son of the late Elmer Eden and Bertha Marie (Speelman) Pauley.

Jim attended South Western High School and retired from BAE Systems, York after 25 years of employment.  He attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Spring Grove.  Jim enjoyed fishing, loved his two mustangs and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-sons, Greg Myers, Wellsville, Mark Myers and wife Chris, York and Thad Jacoby and wife Erin, Abbottstown; brother, Mike Pauley, Hanover; grandchildren, Drew, Zoey, Grant, Sam and Ella; nieces and nephews, Midge, Kevin, Melinda, Keith and Glen, Jr.; great niece, Chanda and special great, great niece Mia.

He was preceded in death by his brother Glen Myers and granddaughter Madalyn Jacoby.

A service to celebrate the life of James G. Pauley will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover with Matthew Harris and John Wright officiating.  The family will receive friends and share memories on Saturday from 1:30 PM until the start of the service at the funeral home.
