Jo'Ann F. (Cappetta) Lehman, 76, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.

Born February 7, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Bernice T. (Legotte) Cappetta.

Jo'Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister; she cherished her family and loved spending time with them. She loved cooking, gardening, canning, crafting, antiquing, knitting baby blankets, bonnets and sweaters, music and dancing. There isn't anything she couldn't do.

Jo'Ann is survived by a son, Phil A. Lehman and his wife Lori of Hanover; three daughters, Mona E. Martin and her husband Eric of Glenville, Nickette A. Hurley of Spring Grove, Sierra C. Miner of Fayetteville; three brothers, James Cappetta of Abbottstown, Robert Cappetta of Seven Valleys, William Cappetta of East Berlin; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jo'Ann is also survived by her two loving dogs Bear and Max.

In addition to her parents, Jo'Ann was preceded in death by a son, Brian J. Lehman.

Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate the life of Jo'Ann will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with Rev. Kevin D. Orewiler officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
