It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Joanne "Jo" G. Kahler, of Hanover, PA, on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the age of 71. Joanne was born on October 9, 1953, in Ontario, Canada, to Godby and Katherine (Clark) Marion. Though her birth father was taken from us at the tender age of 23, it was Bruno Warnken who truly shaped Joanne's life. He provided her with a loving home, guidance, and unwavering support, becoming the father, she cherished deeply. Joanne was wife of Robert "Bob" W. Kahler, with whom she shared a beautiful and lasting love for 34 years.

In addition to her loving husband, Robert, Joanne's remarkable spirit lives on through her devoted son, James "Jim" Kahler, daughter-in-law Jenna Kahler, and her beloved grandson Jaxon Kahler. Joanne is also survived by her brother Kenneth "Kenny" Warnken and his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Warnken, as well as her sisters Debbie Anne Warnken and Annette Baxter, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. Joanne treasured her Canadian heritage and her extended Canadian family members.  Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Bruno and Katherine Warnken.

Known for her strong will and unwavering determination, Joanne was a pillar of support for her family. Her deep love for Jaxon was evident in the joy he brought into her life, and she treasured every moment spent with him. In this time of mourning, let us remember Joanne for the warmth she brought to those around her and the love she shared so freely. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Joanne's life will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover, PA 17331, with Pastor Rhonda Feiser officiating. Visitation and time to share memories will be Friday, May 16, from 4:00 PM until the service begins.
