John R. Little, 90 of Spring Grove passed away peacefully at Hanover Hospital on Friday, June 2, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of 68 years to Yvonne J. (Crist) Little whom he married on November 12, 1955.  They were the first couple to be married in the Jefferson United Methodist Church.

Born December 3, 1932 in Hanover, he was a son of the late John R. and Artella (Mummert) Little.

Mr. Little was a member of St. Paul' Dubs Lutheran Church in Hanover.  He served our country honorably during the Korean War as an instructor at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. He then worked for PH Gladfelter (now Pixelle) in Spring Grove for 38 years.  He also did upholstery for 20 years.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his son, Mike Little; two granddaughters: Stacy Jamison and her husband, Michael and Michelle Ruppert and her husband, Eric; three beautiful great-grandchildren and his brother-in-law, William Harrold.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Lisa Little; two siblings: Doris Harrold and Clyde Little, as well as his furry grand-beagle, Lucky.

A funeral service to celebrate John's life will be held in private by his family.
