John Spencer Person, Sr., 100, of Littlestown, Pennsylvania, entered God's eternal care on Monday, December 29, 2025, at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital.

Born February 9, 1925, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Russell John and Harriet (Hauck) Person.

John was a dairy farmer. In his free time, he enjoyed watching wrestling and drinking beer. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman in his earlier years.

John is survived by his four children, John Person, Jr., and his wife Sally of Littlestown, Craig Person of Fairfield, IA, Bert Person and his wife Maria of Hanover, and Cindy Carruolo of Phoenix, AZ, as well as 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are private. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ian Person, Donald Livingston, Scott Livingston, Ayden Livingston, Wayne Livingston, Jay Livingston, Robert Milhimes, and Vincent Smith.
