Joseph A. Menchey, 64 of Hanover passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 3, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Dubs) Menchey.

Born January 8, 1958 in Gettysburg, he was a son of the late William W. and Mary E. (Small) Menchey.

Joseph enjoyed fishing, and most of all, loved spending time with family and cats.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters: Kathy Laughman and her husband, Alley of Green Springs and Darlene Rickrode and her husband, Dick of Littlestown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers.

A service to celebrate Joseph's life will held in private by his family at a later date.
