Joseph B. Ruth Funeral Service
Joseph B. Ruth, 58, of Hanover, went for a long ride in the sky on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg. He was the loving fiancé of Karen Yealy of Hanover.
Born January 3, 1963 in York, he was a son of Marilyn A. (Elicker) Ruth of Ocala, FL and the late Joseph W. Ruth.
Joe was a loving fiancé, father, son, brother and friend; he loved his friends and family and would do anything for them. Joe was employed at PCA in New Oxford as a machine operator and in his free time, he enjoyed going to the McSherrystown Moose. He was an avid fisherman and loved riding his Harley.
In addition to his mother and fiancé, Joe is survived by his son, Ryan Ruth and his partner Joe Walser of Reykjavik, Iceland; three siblings, a brother, Steve Ruth and his wife Sandy of Dover, sister, Sherry Grimm of Spring Grove, brother, Chris Ruth of Loganville; a niece, Brittany Ruth of Dover; three nephews Nicholas Ruth of York, Corey Ruth of York and Trevor Grimm of Manchester. Joe is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.
A service to celebrate the life of Joseph B. Ruth will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
We require that anyone attending the service and viewing wear appropriate face coverings and maintain social distancing.
