Julia Elaine Jamison Johnson, age 73, of Conway, S.C. passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at UPMC Hanover in Hanover, Pennsylvania.

Julia was the widow of the late Ralph Endicott Johnson of Conway. She was born in Asheville, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Harold Dean and Alice Marie Phillips Jamison. She was a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University and was a teacher at South Conway Elementary for many years until her retirement following the death of her husband. She loved her dog Tasha and enjoyed time with her family and trips to her favorite place in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. She was a much beloved mother, grandmama, sister, and aunt and is survived by her two daughters; Brenna Robitaille (Justin) of East Berlin, PA and Candace Johnson (Kyle) of Conway, two grandchildren; Lelia Robitaille and Tyson Robitaille both of East Berlin, PA, one brother; H. Dean Jamison (Kay) of Wilmington, NC, one brother-in-law; Lex O. Johnson (Georgia) of Conway, two nieces; Deana Jamison and Mary Alice Walters (Timothy), four nephews; Clay White, Jess White, Lex Johnson II (Amanda), and Brett Johnson.

There will be an informal drop-in visitation on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from noon to 6:00 PM at the residence of daughter Candace Johnson on Long Ave. in Conway.
