Larry D. Laughman, 67, of Abbottstown, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 while peacefully at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.

Born August 27, 1953 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Walter J. and Ruth I (Baker) Laughman.

Larry was a proud Grandpa and enjoyed being around family, friends, and was grateful for his neighbors.  He read his Bible daily, enjoyed dining out with family, loved the outdoors, going to the beach, and doing yard work.

Larry is survived by a son, Eric D. Laughman and his wife Melissa of York; a granddaughter, Ava Laughman of York; eight siblings, Kenneth E. Laughman of Emigsville, Ronald L. Laughman of Hanover, James L. Laughman, Sr. and his wife, Pat of Hanover, Gloria J. Spangler and her husband, James of Thomasville, Wayne A. Laughman and his wife, Linda of Hanover, Jerry L. Laughman and his wife, Flora of Hanover, Cindy L. Garcia and her husband, Cecilio of Hanover, Debra Landaverde of Hanover; many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and neighbors.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Walter E. Laughman.

There will be no public viewing. Following cremation, a memorial service will be celebrated at a later date.
