Lillian B. (Wilson) Jarvis, 92 of Hanover, PA passed away peacefully at her daughter, Carolyn's residence in Manchester, MD on Friday, February 17, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Everett G. Jarvis who passed away September 9, 1997, and recent long-time beloved companion of the late Gordie Broseker who passed in 2021.
Born October 5, 1930 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Alexander P. and Anna E. (Hoffman) Wilson.
Mrs. Jarvis was a 1947 graduate of Towson Catholic High School. She was a representative for Mary Kay Cosmetics, a beauty counselor and also a sales representative for Dorman's Lighthouse in Lutherville Timonium, MD. In her free time, she enjoyed ice skating, gardening, telling stories, bird watching, driving around in her Town Car, shopping for plants and reading Nicholas Sparks books.
Lillian is survived by three children: Ken E. Jarvis and his wife, Linda of Hanover, PA, Lois A. Johe and her husband, Gary of Myrtle Beach, SC and Carolyn J. Schmitt and her husband, Marty of Manchester, MD; 13 grandchildren: Tom Jarvis and his girlfriend, Angie Reindollar, Chris Jarvis, Mylinda Fowler and her husband, Brendan, Brian Frederick and his wife, Lauren, Kevin Frederick, Chandler Schmitt, Alex Schmitt, Mikki McConville and her husband, Trevor, Aaron Sasser, Justin VanPelt, Brandee VanPelt, Tim VanPelt, Jr. and Brett VanPelt; her son-in-law, Tim VanPelt, Sr., as well as six great-grandchildren, her faithful dog, Kandi and her beloved cat, Koko.
In addition to her parents, husband, and recent long-time companion, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Cathy L. Schmidt and Jeanne M. VanPelt.
There are no public services planned at this time.
