Louis Thomas Sipling, 77, of Hanover, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at home. He was the loving husband of Norma Irene (Hurst) Sipling; together they celebrated 50 years of marriage on March 24, 2023.

Born April 8, 1946 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Paul Harvey and Katie M. (Gladfelter) Sipling.

Louis had worked for 13 years at FCI Connectors, Hanover, 18 years at Emeco, Hanover and was currently employed at Hanover Foods where he worked for 20 years. He attended Delone Catholic High School, was an avid fan of Notre Dame Football and NASCAR and enjoyed playing the lottery.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Sandra Wickard, Mt. Holly Springs, Jamie Palmer and husband Sheridan, York and Lucinda Sipling, Littlestown; sisters, Ruth Hockensmith and Gloria Soullaird; brother, Harvey Sipling and wife Shirley; grandchildren, Harrison Palmer, James Palmer, Autumn Frock and Braylyn Schlining and great grandchildren, Adalyn Schlining and Marcus Hill, IV.

He was preceded in death by 12 siblings, Betty Sipling, Shirley Sipling, Richard Sipling, Mary Miller, Nancy Grim, Sterling Sipling, Earl Sipling, Paul Sipling, William Sipling, Kenneth Sipling, Robert Sipling and Joseph Sipling.
