Marlene Judith Renz ("Meemoo"), 71, resident of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1 st , 2023 surrounded by her children. She is preceded in death by her mother, Carolina Wroble (Hauser), father Eugene Wroble, brother Phillip Wroble, and her twin brother Michael Wroble. She is survived by her three children and five beautiful grandchildren; son Michael William Renz and daughter Lyta Vyatta Renz-Sandoval of Hanover, PA, daughter Rebecca Anne Wagner (Renz), spouse Casey Wagner and their two children Joshua Parker and Juliana Marie who reside in Stuttgart, Germany, son Robert Joseph Renz and spouse Alisha Renz (Brenneman) and their two children Jacob Brian and Leila Marlene of Glenville, PA. She is also survived by her siblings, Diane Scott, Patricia Bellini, Eugene Wroble, Vicki Garrod, and Joseph Wroble.
Marlene worked most of her working life in the healthcare industry. She raised her children in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She loved reading, art, and all types of food. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Her family and close friends are going to miss her infectious laugh and positive outlook for life. She was so thankful and blessed to have made so many wonderful memories in her lifetime with family, friends, and through travel. She was a great mother and wonderful to her grandchildren.
The Renz and Wagner families request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Four Seasons Foundation ( FourSeasonsCare.org ) in Flat Rock, North Carolina in her memory.
Marlene's funeral will be held at Wetzel Funeral Home on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
At 9:00am, a viewing will be held for close family, and 10:00am for friends and family. Service will be held at 11:00am, followed by a procession to Dubs Church Cemetery afterwards.
