Mary R. (Worden) Henderson, 75, of Hanover, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Spirit Trust Lutheran, the Village at Utz Terrace, Hanover.  She was the loving wife of Carroll E. Henderson, Jr. who died September 21, 2020.

She was born January 18, 1945 in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late James Irving and Ruth Margie (Halliwell) Worden.

Mrs. Henderson retired from Bank of America as a vice president and volunteered at Utz Terrace for 10 years.  She was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Hanover and enjoyed traveling; she visited 48 of the 50 states.

She is survived by her step-daughter, Sherri Leigh Bridge and husband Larry, Salisbury, MD; step-grandchildren, Mason and Payton Bridge, step-great granddaughters, Carley, Brynlee and Preslee Bridge; sisters, June Worden, Salisbury, MD and Effie Walker, Texas; sisters-in-law, Molly Worden, Ohio, Melissa Worden, Salisbury, MD and Debbie Worden, Salisbury, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James, Robert and William Worden.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 15 at 11 AM at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Ave., Hanover with Rev. Dan Dellosso officiating.
