Melvin L. Plunkert, 85, of York, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, 23, 2021 at the ManorCare, York.

Born September 11, 1936 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Claude H. and Treva R. (Warner) Plunkert.

Mr. Plunkert is survived by two daughters, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.

Melvin was preceded in death by two siblings.

There will be no public viewing. Following cremation, a graveside service to celebrate the life of Melvin will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at St. David's Cemetery, intersection of Impounding Dam Rd. and Baltimore Pike, Hanover, PA with Pastor Dan Thomas officiating.
