Merle J. Trivitt, 64 of Hanover passed away peacefully at Hanover Hospital on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

He was the beloved husband of Laura A. (O'Brien) Trivitt.

Born October 7, 1958 in Waukegan, IL, he was a son of Bonnie L. (Cromer) and the late Mitchell E. Trivitt.

Merle is survived by six children: Jayme L. Glover and her husband, Ken of York, Cheyanne J. Trivitt of Hanover, Merle J. Trivitt, Jr. of Hanover, Tammy Blouse and her husband, Joe Gambal of South Carolina, Kelly Klinger and her husband, John of South Carolina and Shannon Miller and her husband, Mike of Littlestown; four siblings: Rick A. Trivitt and his wife, Diane, Mitchell E, Trivitt and his wife, Dawn, Vicki L. Wetzel and her husband, Rick and Mark Trivitt.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Trivitt and his father-in-law, John C. O'Brien.
