Michael R. Botterbusch, 83, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at his home, surrounded by love and the devoted presence of his companion of 25 years, Paulette F. Bornman.

Born on July 19, 1941, in York, Michael was the son of the late Charles Henry Botterbusch and Dorothy Frances (Woltman) Botterbusch.

Michael lived life with a lighthearted spirit and a heart full of love. He found joy in simple pleasures—casting a fishing line into the water, testing his luck with the lottery, cheering on sprint car races, and taking long scenic drives with Paulette by his side. More than anything, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness. A natural jokester with an infectious laugh, Michael had a special way of brightening any room, leaving those around him with smiles on their faces and warmth in their hearts.

In addition to Paulette, Michael is survived by his children, Michael J. Botterbusch, Arminda Martin, Marianne Watts, and Catherine Gladfelter; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss him dearly.

Honoring Michael's wishes, there will be no public viewing or services.
