Michael Edward Crowl, Born September 4, 1941 to Dorothy and Wilson Crowl in York, PA and grew up here along with sister, Sandra (Walker).

He graduated from York High School in 1959 and attended one year of York Junior College before attending RIT and graduating with a degree in Electrical engineering in 1965. Mike worked in engineering and manufacturing for most of his career starting at General Electric and finishing as the facilities director at the Hanover School System.

Before graduating he married the love of his life, Jacqueline Inez Schultz in 1964 and they started a life and marriage that lasted 51 years before Jackie died in 2015.

Mike was a devoted father and husband. He and Jackie raised two exceptional young men, Kevin Michael and Brian Edward . He taught his sons so many valuable lessons from fixing a car to building a house but most of all how to be a genuine and loving human being. He and Jackie shared their love of the ocean and spent many days fishing, cruising, and beautifying their boat. He raced cars with Jackie before becoming a father and was the ever-tenderhearted soul who adopted stray cats in the neighborhood. He welcomed two daughters-in-law into his family in 2006 when Julia married Kevin one month after Lauren married Brian.

He was grandfather to Henry Michael (15), Samuel James Hamilton (13), Isabel Meta (10) and Anika Alma (10). He was a devoted father, father-in-law, and grandfather. Mike and Jackie were the foundation of the Crowl family. Mike will be missed and remembered with love by all who knew him.

There will be no funeral at his request but there will be a memorial service at a later date.
