Mildred M. (Leader) Gutshall, 102, of New Oxford, entered into God's eternal care at Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of the late Merle T. Gutshall for 46 years until his passing on September 2 ^nd , 1989.

Born June 29, 1920 in Meadow Gap, PA, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Lillian W. (Madden) Leader.

Mrs. Gutshall was a lifelong Methodist before joining the Faith Community Church at the Brethren Home.  She was also a faithful member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 280 in Mt. Union, PA

Mildred is survived by 3 children: Bonita "Bonnie" M. Foster and her husband, Glenn of Hanover, J. Kenneth Gutshall and his wife, Linda of Bonita Springs, FL and Dian F. Gamble and her husband, Samuel of Bluffton, SC; 1 brother Ronald V. Leader of Indigo, CA; as well as 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 6 step-great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 siblings: Evalene Deffley, James W. Leader, C. Richard Leader and Reed "Bill" Leader, who happened to pass away in the morning on the same day Mildred went on to glory.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mildred Gutshall will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 27th at the Cross Keys Brethren Home; 2990 Carlisle Pike in New Oxford.  Burial will be private by the family in Three Springs Memorial Cemetery in Three Springs, PA on Sunday, August 28th.
