Obituary

Nadine Elizabeth (Kime) Adams Dean, lived a full and blessed 97 years before she passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Nadine was a woman of strong opinions, unwavering determination, and a deep love for her family. She was known as a devoted Baltimore Orioles fan. She faithfully followed every game, knew the players and their statistics by heart, so much so she thought she could manage the team herself.

She enjoyed spending countless hours working on puzzles, often completing them with patience and determination. In her younger years, she loved camping with family and friends and enjoyed many happy hours at the bowling alley. Nadine never missed reading the daily newspaper, especially enjoying the Sudoku and Cryptogram puzzles. She had an incredible memory and was as sharp as a tack, often recalling details, facts, and stories with remarkable accuracy. She was also an avid reader who especially enjoyed true stories and biographies.

Most importantly, Nadine was a woman of faith and a longtime member of Mt. Joy Lutheran Church. Her faith provided strength and comfort throughout her life and was an important part of who she was.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Edna Kime; her first husband, Jacob Richard Adams; her second husband, Robert Dean; her sister, Arlene Lawver; her brothers, Guy Kime Jr. and Donald Kime; her brothers-in-law, James Kime, John Lawver, Chuck Polley, and Robert Gilbert; and her faithful companion, Pierre, her beloved Bichon Frise.

Nadine is survived by her children, Rick Adams and wife Vickie, Sue Morgan, Deb Boyer and husband James, and Greg Adams and wife Denise; her sisters, RuthAnna Polley, Betty Kime, Nancy Gilbert, and Jean Spangler and husband Bob; her sister-in-law, Vickie Kime; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Nadine's family finds comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with loved ones who went before her and now rests in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Joy Lutheran Church, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, or to VNA & Hospice of Hanover & Spring Grove.
