Nancy Herche Godfrey Toft passed away on March 31, 2020 at York Hospital following a battle with longstanding health issues.

Born on June 10, 1943, she was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.  She had been a nurse and a home day care provider before retiring to spend more time with family and those she loved, as that was always most important to her. In addition, she enjoyed reading, sewing, collecting dolls, playing games with her family, and spending time with her dogs.

Mrs. Toft was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Lee Herche, who died in 2019.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 23 years, Ronald Toft; her children, Tammy Marie Godfrey Eckert and her wife Kelly Becker, Heather Anne Zoppetti, and Joanna Toft; her grandchildren, Jonah, Jeremiah, Thomas, Elijah, Andre, Aijah, Micah, and Isaiah Eckert, and Alexia and Logan Funk; her sister, Judy Litz; and her brother, William Herche.

A memorial for Nancy will be held at a later date when it is deemed safe for people to gather. Nancy had many friends and family whom she loved dearly, and the family would like to invite them to stop by and share their memories.
